Central Otago Weddings started when close friends of Bernice Lepper’s asked her if she would become a marriage celebrant in order to conduct the service at their wedding.

Since then Bernie has been the celebrant for over a hundred weddings. Couples from all over New Zealand and many from overseas have chosen to get married in beautiful Central Otago and asked Bernie to be their celebrant.

Married for nearly 25 years, Bernie and Tony's 2 children have now left home.As a couple they share a lot of sporting interests, especially mountain biking. Both keen multisport athletes, Tony has also had to spend many hours supporting Bernie in a number of races including The Southern Traverse five years in a row. This time spent together has really added a different dimension to their married life!

Bernie works in education. With a teaching background she is now in management for REAP (Rural Education Activities Programme).
